Get a damp ice pack (ACE wrap) and wrap it around your shoulder. Mold a loose ice sack around your shoulder for 15-25 minutes or until pain or humiliated from the cold. Do this 3-5 times a day beside 2+ hours in between inside 72 hours of injury. It doesn't have to be necessarily 72 hours, it's more of a guideline.
It will appropriate longer than 10 days for a pulled muscle to recover properly. After going on for a week, start applying a Moist Heat Pack and start stretching it after. Don't start exercising or weigh lifting until you regain your full range of motion (flexibility), which could cart a few days.
