What is swiss chard?

Answer:

Screaming Drunk Friend?

It is a plant that is related to the table beet. You do not put away the root on chard, just the big leaves. One mixed bag is a plain green leaf and another have red through the center part. It is a green leafy vegetable that contains iron and profusely of other really good nutrients. It is jammy to grow and you pick a few leaves at a time off the plant and it will produce more so you can devour it most of the summer. I like it beside butter on it after it is cooked. Some people put vinegar, butter and brackish and pepper on it. I am sure there are recipe of other sorts.
