Had foot op how long can i not weight take on. mixed signals from hospital.?
one person said 2 weeks another 6weeks immediately another saying until 29th may. have pins put in after breaking 5th bone next to little toe have op on 23rd march and hold a boot cast on.

Depends on what type of foot op you have. For compression you have to do weightiness bearing exercises to hang on to the bones aligned and heal properly, however some other ones require bed rest...

my Austrian girlfriend is recovering from op on both her feet at same time.she have miss formed bone taken off the outside of ample toes ,she remained in hospital for one full week with bed rest,go home and had to rest most of the time apart from the things you inevitability to do like cook and the loo.leisurely she started to walk a moment or two more on them but the feet swelled up and still do but she is on them greatly more than at first..this op was 8 weeks ago and she still is not here yet...so i judge the two weeks may be a bit short but with a plaster shape on maybe it will be ok as it,s one and only one foot involved6 weeks
