I'm in the process of applying to nursing university What appeals to me?
1--helping ppl/making a difference
2--using my brain at work (currently I shut it off most of the time at my job)
3--can you utter job deposit and good $$/bennies?
4--a lot of different field to work in/chances for advancement--if i don't like ER nursing i can other travel, do home health, work for a drug co, etc.
5--i love the thought of working 3 12 hour shifts and calling that ull-time!
what turns me off?
1-seeing inhabitants die/get poor care due to insurance company regulations
2-being bossed around by doctors who may not know or aid as much
I have a level in mortuary science, I work near a lot of motionless people, I cannot see live general public bleed, I admire those who can. Go nurses!
I can't see myself as a nurse, simply because I am too old to do it economically and would be even older once trained.
I contemplate I would have trouble dealing beside sickness and pain, even though I make out the need for population to do that.
I have the greatest possible regard for nurses--especially accurate ones--who devote their lives to helping others. I have even dated nurses (back when I be single.) But I don't have what it take to do that and respect those who do.

Yes, I can see myself anyone a nurse. I just vanished a job as an Activity Director at a Nursing Home. I'm roughly to start a CNA course, but that's not what I want to do. I'm only taking it to seize closer to a career as a Polysomnograph Technician.Nursing is such a concrete job, but also rewarding.
