You must remember that your ear and throat is closely connected and when you suffer from any pain surrounded by your throat it will also affect your ear. You could also be grinding your teach and because of that you will touch some discomfort and pain surrounded by your ear when swallowing. I am trying to pinpoint the origin of the aching but I think it is a throat and ear infection and you should be taking antibiotics (wide spectrum) and stomach-ache killers.

This is probably due to pressure in the Eustachian tubes. This is cause by a mucus plug in the tube trapping a columnn or nouns, between it and the ear drum. The pressure in this colum cannot equalise to atmospheric pressure.
