Should my son see a doctor?
He was bit by an unknown insect closing night on his lower eyelid. There be mild swelling but when he woke up it was severely swollen and bruised. Airways are fine and hes acting normal. Is in attendance anything I should do.
Answer:
As a healthcare provider I believe that the problem with this situation is : Unless you certainly saw the insect, how do you accurately know that this is what is occuring? Insect bite...and cellulitis are two very divergent things. Getting to see a healthcare provider on a weekend is no easy favour usually (I just get done working 4 hours in an Urgent Care Center and now we are closed for the weekend) An evaluation would be appropriate surrounded by my opinion. But unless it get even worse...more swelling, discharge, visual change, increasing pain, or any of the symptoms you previously mentioned...I don't believe it warrents a ER pop in. But if no changes are adjectives by Monday morning, a call to the healthcare provider is a dutiful idea. The problem near possible cellulitis to the eye area and frontage area of a child is that infection (if this is what it is) desires to be treated ASAP because the bones in this nouns are very diluted. And behind them lies the brain. Which you do not want an infection to spread to. So cellulitis of the eye/face of children is taken markedly seriously by us.
Any doctors out there? I really stipulation help.?
noI enjoy Merkinophobia are there any fellow sufferers out nearby ?
i think he should be in motion to the doctor just to be sure. Also it could variety any pain walk away.Try putting ice or a cold pack on it if it does not jump down within a couple of hours I would run to ur doctor. if u notice any drastic convert in skin color, temp. or breathing pinch him to E.R.
Sounds similar to a spider bite, ice for the swelling. Your sure you didn't punch him :)
How long does tonsillitis final?
yeah, go grasp it checked, just to brand name sure it's ok.And I'm sure it would relieve you alittle bit because I know you're worring about it.please bring him to the nearest opthalmologist for an instantaneous cure. our eye is a very decisive organ in our body.
it is probably nil but i wouldn't be so sure. I had to hold my leg amputated from something that my parents and I thought was "Nothing" sorry to upset you there... but that in fact happend. the even worse part be that i am only 14 and the procedure be done 4 weeks ago. Anyways... I got bitten by a spider (i reason it was a brown recluse) and very well... I didnt think it be anything so I didnt tell my parents, a sunshine leter it got really fruitless so I told them. We went to the doctor and they said that I have gotten a bad infection and my lower leg have to be amputated. :( so... no more gymnastics, no more tennis, and no more being a average kid again. Once again... sorry to scare you. Ya... merely go grasp it checked out, better safe than sorry right? Hope adjectives goes well
