Doctors guidance to see a dermatologist?
So I am a Redhead and i have some skin problems and considered necessary to see a dermatologist about them, I looked-for to know if i can just progress to the dermatologist without my doctor opinion. It would be so much easier and less of a hassle if i could simply go straight to the dermatologist.

If you own one of the crappy HMO, insurances, then you HAVE to run see your general practitioner first and they determine, if you involve to see a dermatologist. If you have a PPO next you can self refer to a dermatologist. Of course if your like me and dont want to operation with adjectives the politics of insurance companies, then, simply go see a dermatologist on a bread basis.
