Chemical Burn On My HEAD! what should I do?
so ok ... i bought this home waxing system and it have like a nair type operate mixed in next to the wax . i am MAJORLY allergic to the chemicals in spike remover and it burns my flesh... not fun ... i am not sure what to use to help take the edge off the pain seeing i wax my eyebrows with the wax so its on my noggin!. HELP ASAP!

Yes, the first thing you should do run it lower than cold water and name your Doctor/ER if your into waiting. After you have done that you can put a cold compress on the nouns to numb it and reduce niggle. Then since your allergic to the wax I would take some sort of antihistamine(benadryl or claritin) to hold on to the reaction from continuing. Then finally throw out the wax so you wont be tempt to use it again. You may also, like the being above suggested take some ibuprofin or asprin to hold the swelling down and kill the aching...just detail your doctor that you took them. Also, do not keep taking them for a long time becuase they put stress on the stomach, kidneys, and liver...adjectives very celebrated. Yeah, burns suck!

Use some Lidocaine or something similar that would be used for sunburns. If it looks like it's not doing very well, see a doctor ASAP.

Rinse the burned area below cool water. Call your doctor and he or she may also suggest taking an anti-imflammatory such as an ibuprofin close to motrin or advil After food. Please go to the ER is you are surrounded by severe pain as you may involve more advanced medical treatment or such. Feel better soon! Burns are the worst!
