My brother has ankylosing spondylitis and wants treatment that he can't afford.?
He is on disability and his wife works at Walmart and they have three children. Does anyone know of some assistance that he could carry?

I would check and see.my dad suffered from that disease and still suffers from what it left him near for a body. the treatment he is seeking probably isn't a cure all anyway so he should freshly put his head down and power through it. insist on him not to take to much ibuprofen as that will emasculate the tissues of his digestive system and the subsequent bleeding could easily destroy him. if it helps, the process solitary lasts around 14 yrs. so there is pallid at the end of the tunnel. survey the weight!

Your local health dept. should work on a sliding wage scale. I know of a young at heart man who needed both hip ball joint replaced, and his family be without a clue where on earth he could turn - he was contained by agony. Every time I saw him I asked if he had gone to the strength dept. yet.They fixed both his hips.
Don't know if your brother have medicare - I think you become eligible after 1 year on disability... :/
Not too sure if social services/medicaid simply pays after you have incurred a big bill, and next it might only be to relieve with food, housing, etc.
Do ask around to find out if within are non-profit groups that might be able to aid. Perhaps a charity group could help tilt funds for treatment.
