Go to doctor for broken toe?
I broke my big toe a couple days ago. It has be quite bleeding as can be expected, but not unbearable as long as I babe it. Some people contemplate I should go to the doctor, but I dont deem there is any sense to progress. Pretty much the whole top of my toe turned purple and immediately blackish, and the side of my toe and the front half side of my foot are purple more so next I expected. I am a licensed first responder but strangely I dont recall discussion about broken toes. Should I bother shift get it checked out or is it a lavish of time, is there any complications that may arise from not going.

From personal experience, breaking a big toe and breaking one of the little ones is two very different things. When you break the little ones, a doctor will simply video them together and send you home beside a bill for something you could have done yourself. Breaking your big toe is different and should be attended to by a physician. Your big toe is what allows you proper go together when you walk. If it heal improperly, you can hold problems with throbbing and stiffness for years. There are more blood vessels and nerves contained by your big toe, and the blood flow can be obstructed by the bone break. See the doctor and be sure you aren't going to have complications.
Seriously, is it worth it recuperative wrong and being stuck on desk light duty for months because they have to operate and fix it? It happen. Go see your doctor.
I don't think in that is a lot the doctor can do. Just ride it out beside pain tablets. Go get it checked though.

Last time I broke a toe, they tape two together, and told me to check back it it wasn't better surrounded by 2 weeks. Bill, x-rays, wasted time..Pass

I would give it a couple of days to tolerate the swelling and bruising sudside. I have have many broken toes (yes, i'm highly clumsy) and they have adjectives resolved on their own. The best remedy for a broken toe is anti-inflammatory and wrapping it somewhat tightly with the toe subsequent to it.Lead from pencil in my leg...non-hazardous?
The usual treatment for a simple broken toe, that is the bone is not protruding thru the skin, is to cartridge it to the toe next door to the broken one. no dont move about cause i go 1 time when i broke mine all they do is recount you to baby it.it a short time ago costs time and money and they cant even put a cast on it.The merely reason to shift is for the Vicodin they MAY give you :-) and to hold them tape it, which you can do yourself. I broke a finger on both hand this spring and taped them (coaching basketball) and they hurt resembling hell but I never went surrounded by..vicodin is too fun and hard to tolerate go of when it runs out so I sucked it up.
I in actual fact work in an ER, deplorably the doctors can't fix broken toes. The best thing to do is video it to the next toe and wear concrete sole shoes. Use ice for swelling and torment. Ibuprofen works best if you need cramp medicine it decrease swelling. Keep the foot elevated.
Any non smokers here that used to smoke?
