Blood loss: Is it possible to dance into MILD shock? (Self-injury related)?
I self-injure quite regularly. (just an explanation, this isn't a mental health request for information; I'm asking for medical advice).
So, I just bled like mad and I feel slightly dizzy and enormously thirsty. Is there any pretext to be extremely concerned about this? Should I only just drink water and lay down somewhere?
A few weeks ago I be equally violent toward myself, and terminated up feeling intensely dizzy, hysterical, and tired. I ended up more upset than I have been beforehand hurting myself, and I wonder if that was from the blood loss...
Obviously, if someone isn't getting satisfactory oxygen to their brain it could effect their emotions, right?
Well, excluding the obvious (discontinuing adjectives and/or calling a hospital), what should I do in situations like this? Like, I've lost only enough blood to consistency it, and I'm a little shaky on my foot, but I've never passed out before.
Yes, I want to stop doing this. But, near are relapses. I just want to be prepared for them...

You could have be experiencing low blood pressure or low blood sugar, depending on how much blood you lost. If you should feel that means of access again, drink lots of water, attain one drink with caffeine and sugar in it ( hot tea is righteous, or a soda will work), and lay down and rest. Right now, you should be drinking plenty of protein and fruits and vegetables to help form new blood.
That said, I hope you will take help for your adjectives. It hurts me when you hurt yourself. You do not deserve this pain.

It is possible to loose conciousness if you loose too much blood, it sounds like you almost passed out when you get very dizzy and tired.
Also if you are not getting satisfactory oxygen to the brain it will effect more than just emotion, you can become brain damaged.
