Answer:
Do you die if you slit your wrists!?
Unfortunately tennis elbow is a form of repetitive strain injury (RSI) and you can and do win this from working at at computer.
Contact the RSI Association for full information (google RSI). In the meantime, I found seeing an osteopath very enormously helpful, both for realigning the bones in the arms (if they are even slightly out this will create more pressure on your elbow and wrist joints) and also for alleviating the muscle pain and reducing inflammation.
In attachment to this, rest is good (yes I hear what you influence about have to work.I've been in that too on this one.!). You need to seriously consider about adjectives the things you use your arms/hands for in your life (housework, cleaning the vehicle, gardening, driving, walking the dog, decorating..) and CUT DOWN on everything. Simply adjectives back on a moment ago the computer work is not enough, especially if you are using your arms/hands for other things. Seriously, for a time rest now on adjectives of it, will pay dividends within the future, don't consent to it get so discouraging (like I did) that you are seriously hampered in adjectives aspects of your life.
Apart from that, regular breaks (from anything you are doing) are a good belief. I personally haven't tried acupuncture, but it may ably worth too.
Any suggestions to boost your metabolism?
Rest - give your elbow a destiny to heal!I went and saw a chiropractor which be the best help. He get me some sort of strap to wear on my arm. After being surrounded by pain for so long this really help.
Accupuncture can work wonders, especially as it has worked for you in the past. Alternatively, try a chiropracter - they sorted it out for my wife in only one visit!
I suffered horrendously with tennis elbow and similar to you did not want steroids, tho they are good. Ask your doc to refer you to hold some remedial splints fitted. They are soft supports and they re-educate the muscles to return to thier correct position. The only point is that for a while the splints cause a bit of distress but its worth it. I had this something like 6 years ago and it has never returned. I have tennis elbow very scantily so give it a budge but you will need to continue with it.
Stop playing tennis!
What cause blurred vision after taking out my monovision contact lens?
Wise not to budge down the steroid route as it is a short term solution next to longer term problems. As you've tried acupuncture past with well-mannered effects, go in that again. Acupuncture has a great track diary with tennis elbow - as do osteopathy, chiropractic & homoeopathy. How do I heal my burned finger?
Tennis elbow are strained ligaments from the appendage to the elbow.I had it myself from taking a homerun swing but missed.Unfortunatlly it is a TIME injury.I have to wait 6-8 weeks. There is no efficient cure and I know it hurts, its just a issue of time before it go away.
