My son have a spinal cord injury, but can walk near a cane. Is in that any physical therapy that can minister to him?
He was injured at the age of 15, and he is in a minute 28. He leans on that wicker a lot and thus have problems with his right shoulder, elbow, and wrist. We believe that if he be in the right physical analysis program, he could benefit. If there is anyone out nearby who has have a similar experience or knows something more or less this, please answer and give me some information. Thanks!!!

At this point, rehabilitation due to his artistic injury is beyond the point of recovery. However, if he is have problems with this shoulder, elbow and wrist, he may benefit from some psychiatric therapy for that. It may be something as simple as recommending a unsullied assistive device or stragegy of ambulation, or strengthening of the shoulder complex.
i don't know of any myself but, why not contact the chris reeves foundation? they're adjectives about s.c. injury. i'm sure they'd be capable of direct you.

Wow...13 years post injury, tell him congrats for me.
I hold SCI too and I got injured roughly 2 years ago, I'm 18 right now. My injury stratum is at T5 and basically aim that I can't move anything under my chest. So I know what it is to jump through living as a SCI.
Now as far as the cane shift, it's a pretty good entity. I would talk to your doctor more or less the shoulder pain and what not and see if you guys can bring a PT to work on it, the last piece you need is to hold more pain and more problem over the SCI.
