Sorry for having to influence this but my friend has only just had a small part of a set of his tongue removed, he went to the doctors two weeks ago near something totally unrelated and said, 'oh while I'm here, I've had this small spot on the side of my tongue for a few years very soon. Go see a doctor as soon as,. it may be nothing but don't look right through it. Good Luck
