The five second rule is ridiculous. Imagine if you spilled pudding on the floor where at hand is hair and dust and dirt. Do you conjecture you won't get the coat, dust and dirt on the pudding if you pick it up 2 seconds after it dropped? Of course not. People freshly use non-sticky food to try and prove a point, but the truth is, the second there is contact, the microbes is on it.
