How long would doctor as a rule prescribe?
How long would a doctor normally prescribe a medication for oxycontin or morphine? I know these are both narcotics, so I'm wondering what the 'normal' length of time a doc would provide it to a patient so they didn't find addicted.
Answer:
Unsure of what's going on...I wake up at dark feeling chest pressure.?
It depends on the doctor. If you're within a pain running clinic, you're there because you're going to entail medication of some kind, be it narcotics or not, for the forseeable adjectives. I've been on Oxycontin for a year. It isn't intended for short occupancy pain, one and only chronic pain. You don't become an user if you have unadulterated pain issues, you become dependant. That is VERY different from addiction, which is a behavioral issue.
Radiation Dosimeter read 5, should I tell boss?
my affliction management doc have had me on 10/325 percocet for over a year. i pinch 6 a day for hindmost pain. i pocket it on a regular schedule and not more than needed.he does a jumbled call surrounded by where pts enjoy to have a pill count done and a urine interview to make sure they own the right amount of med in their system.
he's be a very apposite doc. i had a valid hard time finding one that would listen and do the test i needed.
usually doctors won't prescribe any more than a month at a time, because they monitor chronic.severe pain cases closely or at lowest they should. both of the medications mentioned are severely controlled, so i doubt any okay pharmacist would dispense a large amount at one time.
