Hi guys, i have a lump surrounded by my throat that has begin to concern me?
I know its not swollen Lymph nodes (Thank God) because its not in the location of my Lymph Nodes, its simply above my adams apple, its around the size of a garden pea (if this helps?) could it be smoking that cause this? and does it sound close to cancer? I do remember getting it about a month ago when I be yelling and straining my voice (because im in the army) and this have also caused my throat to hurt and a small crust of voice loss for a day shortly after(The Yelling and Straining, That Is). could this be related? However data that the lump has have no effect on my voice or swallowing food along with any niggle of any kind.

You might hold a goiter. A goiter is a problem with your thyroid, which can swell up and cause you look very much resembling a bullfrog. Or it could be just a non-hazardous cyst (fluid-filled sac). Either way, shift have it checked out by your GP. Good luck.

you have to be in motion get this looked at and don't keep on. I had this and it turned out to be cancer. Be doubly assiduous if it grows, but go return with it checked in any case. If it is a lymphoma, that spreads quickly and needs to be caught while it's still small similar to your "pea".don't take any probability!
