Make sure that you are wearing good shoes next to good arch support. You can also try some of the Dr. Scholl's gel inserts...they work wonders for me. You may also want to invest in some Epsom Salts (you can obtain them at any drug/grocery store). Put about 1/4-1/2 cup of the salt in a small tub of thaw water, and soak your foot every night. It help me to take a cold can of soda from the 'fridge, put it on the floor, and roll my foot over it. If you are having sharp or shooting pains in your foot that aren't alleviated by any of this, I would consult a podiatrist (foot doctor). You may enjoy fallen arches, or small stress fractures contained by your bones.
