Doctor won't do hernia surgery because in attendance is no bump yet, how adjectives is this?
The doctor says that he think I have hernia but since near is no noticeable bump he can't do surgery. I am a pretty alive guy and the hernia slightly impedes me when I play competitive sports. The discomfort usually comes the next morning; its bearable but it's annoying. The doctor told me to check for a lump after I play sports and when/if I find it go vertebrae to the hospital and then he can operate. I enjoy also read that I might have something call "sports hernia".
Has anyone ever gone through this?

A hernia is a piece of intestine that protrudes through the muscular wall, thus the "lump". Intestinal surgery is not enter into lightly as complications can occur very slickly. My cousin has duplicate issue. He has a lump but the docs are timid to operate unless it really really bothers him because he suffered complications before. It may be that the surgeons' hand are tied with good opinion to his insurance that unless there is a protrusion the surgery may not be authorized but simply your doctor can speak to that issue. Can you wear an abdominal support during activities?

I hold had hernias on both sides. Usually the doctors will not operate unless at hand is a risk of strangulated hernia or the intestines becoming injured. If you do not have a lump on the other hand, then the muscle facing has not completely given track and the intestine is not protruding yet. If you do strenuous deeds, eventually it will need to be repaired. Or in that might be some exercises your doctor can give that would strengthen the muscles contained by that area to hang on to the hernia as it is and not let it worsen.
