How does a human being get medical treatment / evaluation lacking insurance?
The public health department will not provide the type of exam that this human being needs to find out what's wrong next to him. He needs a private doctor, but do they see associates without insurance and how much will it cost for a cat-scan, mri?

You inevitability to have a REASON to get hold of extensive evaluation. If you want a full CT exam, I think some cities enjoy these things set up in the mall. About $400 does it. The problem next to those is they find "false positives" things that appear to require investigation, but turn out to be nothing. The investigation regularly is expensive and risky...so in total you be probably better off minus the scan in the first place.
There are community strength clinics in some communities that typically give free or sliding level rates. There are volunteer clinics in some communities.
I think the bottom chain is that some medical provider needs to be contained by agreement that more testing is reasonable. Until you have that component, you own nothing. So income for an office call in to get doesn`t matter what you have on your mind, worked out. Most office will allow even an office pop in to be paid over time if you have need of it.

Addendum: It is a misnomer that the ER must treat you. Per EMTALA. ER's must EVALUATE you and determine whether your condition is stable and provide treatment to stablize your condition, if it is not. If they are unable to stabilize your condition, next they must transfer you to a place that can. They are not obligated to treat a chronic condition close to cancer, for instance, unless, it somehow worsened or was cause complications.

Have you tried only going straight to the hospital emergency room? Sometimes that may work. They cannot turn you away. There are some doctors that will let you do a clearance plan, but you will have to appointment around to search for them.
