How can I keep a devout man down?
Ok, before anyone get's wacky, I don't mean it approaching it sounds, lol! My hubby just have back surgery. He is supposed to REST! He hate to be immobile, though, or even just unproductive. Before the surgery the Dr give him enough meds to hold on to a large horse knocked out, and he still wanted to be up and moving around (and he be taking the dosages the Dr. told him too!). When we went to the hospital a few days beforehand the surgery there be a woman trying very thorny to walk from her saloon to the E.R. entrance, we had to run get a wheelchair and bring it out and wheel her in, cuz it be going to take her an hour to draw from all the mode to the door, she almost couldn't walk at adjectives. She'd had impossible to tell apart surgery my hubby had, and stepped surrounded by a pot hole, and tore it all up. I am worried something approaching this will happen, and my M.I.L. is yell at ME, because I am not keeping him resting enough.

Just do you best to remind him of what can appear if he doesn't take it graceful. (it will take even longer!) Try to keep hold of him entertained next to magazines, puzzles and stuff. Try watching movies next to him, pick out a couple or even watch his favorite near him (even if you don't like them, that'll show how much you watchfulness!)

Let your husband know how much he means to you.Then ask him if he will do it for you.
anytime you will it up to what the man wants.he's going to communicate you what he wants..and will do it.
But if you phrase it correctly and permit him know that you want him to rest because of how much it means to you that he get better and how much it hurts you when he goes against his doctors wishes...he might merely surprise you.
for example...my grandfather was surrounded by an elderly home suffering from alzheimers. Anytime my mother would go to see him she would ask my dad if he required to go, and he other said "No." Because he really didn't want to go..he would fairly do something around the house. And it started bothering my mom alot because she felt my dad be being apathetic. Then one day she asked surrounded by a different way. she asked " Would you step with me to see my father because I really stipulation you to be with me when I stir?" And my dad instantly said "Yes" and cancelled his plans. See, my dad didn't really want to go to see her father, but he did want to other be there for my mom when she needed him so the agency she worded the question made adjectives the difference in the world.

He is a grown man. Unfortunately all you can do is instil him. Not control him. He is the one in charge of his salvage.You could also ask your MIL to come on over and see if she can do a better job earlier she jumps the gun and criticizes you.
