Do they plaster these? Or are you put into traction, Im sure Ive heard that they cannot be plastered , when this happen to somebody else.

they would probably detail him to stay in bed and rest for a while,to permit the bones heal.I don't however regard they would plaster these,as the circulation of the blood would be far too cut off.

Right this will depend on the fracture,the location off the fracture,the age sour your brother,and hes general robustness.If the fracture is a treatable with our a kind he will just be put into a tubigrip beside elbow crutches,if hes fractures is more serious he will either own both ankles in plaster up to 12-16 wks adjectives depending on the fracture and where it is surrounded by the ankle,or if the fracture is very serious resembling a compound fracture or a spiral fracture he will need surgery to correct the position and may hold to have pins and plates to held the fracture in place.He will also enjoy to try and keep hes cargo off both legs,he may hold to stay in hospital for a few wks,save he will be sent home with walking cast on and elbow crutches to put most off the weightiness on these.What ever fracture your brother has substained he will be layed up for a while,and taking it confident.If you or your brother wants more warning email me .
