Can blood be taken from anywhere?
I am going into hospital soon to have 4 teeth pulled. I own only be in hospital once when I be younger and it was horrible. The worst element was the blood audition. I have a serious phobia of needles and terminated up with 2 nurses and my mother holding me down. The affliction was so severe (I'm sure due to shock) that I couldn't use my arm for 3 days and I kept faint every time I thought about it. The operation itself wasn't as unpromising. The canula in the hindmost of my hand hurt more, but I didn't find that dragging, sickening feeling I have with my arm - if you've see that puppet scene in Nightmare On Elm Street you'll know what I aim! It literally felt as though they be pulling my vein out! I've be told I may just be unusually sensitive inside my arm, which is why it hurt so much. It's be over 10 years now and I still own nightmares. My teeth really hurt though and are impacted, so I need this op. So, two question... 1) Will I need a blood theory test? 2) Can I have it done contained by my hand instead?

If you are scared about agony when being injected near needles ask the Dr or Nurse before mitt to numb the area beside EMLA cream. It is usually put on the area 10-15 minutes up to that time the needle is injected. This bearing you shouldn't feel a entry and if you do it would be VERY minimal.

I'm sure it can be taken from anywhere and it probably is the fear which is making it worse for you. If you necessitate to be anesthetized then you cold purely ask for the gas form.

Ask if you can have this also and next at least, you will know it wont hurt and you can concentrate on breathing to get hold of yourself through the rest of the procedure. I suspect as your phobia is deep rooted, you will necessitate to do some breathing exercises because even numb, you may still react. Tell yourself it will not hurt surrounded by like a mantra or meditation sympathetic of way and this may lend a hand.

Yes sweetie, just request it, i have to have a canula two weeks ago and they put it within the back of my foot as the veins in that were better. Plus my daughter be really poorly before xmas and her vein kept collapsing where they have to take so much blood and contribute her transfusions, she ended up near canulas in her foot and director so they can do it pretty much anywhere i think. Try not to verbs, and why not ask for some gas and air first too relax you back the needles. Or ask for some cream to numb your hand, my daughter hate needles to and they put some cream on her hand for an hour to completely numb the nouns so she can just look away and it's done earlier she knows it.

I'l in recent times go directly for the question you asked.1) Possibly, though I would be inclined to guess no. They would detain any abscess through the x-ray usually. If they do a blood test, they would be checking for infection, most promising. I don't believe that's necessary or standard practice for simple impacted teeth.

i hade 4 teeth out within hospital aswell but it was supposed to be 5 so be paid sure they take out the right amount!! but dont verbs, they didnt take any blood from me. i dont reckon:|you'll be fine.

I don't see why they would own to take any blood from you when your with the sole purpose having teeth out.
You will probably want a cannula in your arm, and in recent times request to have it contained by the back of your paw as apposed to your inner elbow. Also when they're inserting it ask at the time if you will need any bloods taken as directly after the cannula is inserted and previously anything is put down it blood can be taken from here without the stipulation for further stabs.
Also if you tell them you be sensitive before they will be capable of numb the area on your foot first before inserting the cannula.

I've been have a muscle spasm for two weeks, could it be anything serious?
you may need a blood exam not sure yes you can have it done contained by your hand also you can seize a gel or cream to put on before they do the op this is so you dont get the impression the needle ask around it at the hospital
