I inevitability help beside a sunburn?
i got sunburned on my forehead, shoulders and the back of my upper arms. this happened on the 4th and immediately, 4 days later, it still itches and burns approaching crazy ! it is uncomfortable to sleep. i've be putting cold compresses and aloe gel on it, but as soon as the aloe dries, it starts feeling scaly- but no crumbling yet. what can i do ? aid!!

cold water is the best first aid when you burn yourself - 20 minutes below the tap is just the thing. NEVER ice or vinegar or milk or butter or mustard or toothpaste or sunscreen or semen or vaseline or tomatoes or vanilla extract or yogurt or sour cream or egg white or lavender grease or cocoa butter or salt or tea or potato or shaving cream or olive grease or baking soda or banana peel or petroleum jelly or whip cream or avocado or bacon grease or corn starch- not until the skin is fully healed!
alcohol might lend a hand with the backache but it is a serious risk as it will dehydrate you - so don't drink any. ibuprofen or aspirin will help but larger burns are regularly accompanied by stomach ulcer, so tylenol/panadol is best for pain if you are gonna tough it out. drink plenty of sea or energy drinks that don't hold caffeine (gatorade)
i would advise that you cover the adjectives area near sterile paraffin wax or aqueous cream bp. (check the links below and see if you can find a local equivalent). wash the burn and reapply every 4-6 hours - cover beside cling wrap if you wish to cover next to clothes - this will stop your clothes getting covered with paraffin and maintain the burn.
cling wrap alone is ok if you can't get hold of any paraffin. it also act as a protective artificial skin - helping retain moisture and protect from further damage and agony. cling wrap is cheap and clean sour the roll. in Australia ambulances normally use this when someone has be burnt. - please write down that cling wrap isn't always practical, close to on your face.
the paraffin imitate the natural oil, creating a seal stopping marine leaving the body and reduce pain by protecting sensitised nerves. both of these factor improve restorative - good stuff stays within, bad stays out - i.e. one job of glowing skin. aloe is good coz it remoisturises but that moisture can be soon lost as the skin can't contain fluids. so put aloe on, and then the paraffin on over the top. if here is broken skin leave out the aloe - a moment ago paraffin.

finally if you are really worried go to a hospital that have a burns unit or plastic surgeons. serious sunburn i.e. blisters (and adjectives other burns) should be seen by a burns trained doctor or nurse.

I have indistinguishable issue...went to a pool do on the 4th and it still hurts but not that much anymore...I constantly put lotion to keep it from drying and avoid staying too long outside. If still reallys hurts,you should see your doctor because you might own a severe sun burn...

Put a lot of lotion on it to save it from drying out. Also the aloe is very well brought-up. Have you tried putting it in the fridge? It makes it cold and it feel really good when you put it on a burn. also, subsequent time put loads of sunscreen on.I had a sinus and ear infection. I be put on an antibiotic and it did not work.?
I had a impossible sun burn on my arm and I put Marine with deep-sea fennel on it and it feel closely better and I was gone within 1 day. Or you find out if you can still buy ST37 which is for burns. Use alcohol free aloe vera gel. You can usually find this at the drug store or if you have an aloe vera plant freshly break off a exit and rub in adjectives over.Do liberals care more about women and their strength?
