I hyperextended my index and middle finger playing volleyball. What should I do?

Go to the Doctor. The doctor will probably put it contained by a splint and give you a distress killer and relate you to let it make well... I have sprained wrists salutary now, and it take a long time for hand and wrist injuries to restore to health if they are bad. Months depending on what happen to your joints, bones, tendons when the injury occur. Yes, icing it will help, and it is painful/uncomfortable if you rime it correctly. Good luck!
About three weeks ago, I felt similar to it was hopeless and my wrists would never be one and the same, but they are much better now and I can if truth be told do pull-ups and other excercises again that I could not do for months.
Since it is just your finger it will probably pretty in a hurry, the only finger that bothers me a bit still is my pinky on the right appendage.
tape it, rime it, and hope for the best.
I got mine desperate last year and it still get a little sore every once and awhile.
I carry a headache atleast once a day and I sleep closely. What's the problem.?

Elevate above the heart
Take pain/anti-inflammatory med such as ibuprofen as directed
See a doctor if symptoms are worse or not shooting up after 36 hours.
The best piece to do is to give your appendage a break for a few days. Try doing small range of motion exercises beside your finger a few times a day, but not to the point of it hurting. That will preserve the mobility in your finger, so it won't be so stiff. However, overworking it is unpromising because it will take longer to treat. It could take a few weeks to bring back back to mundane. If you still want to play volleyball, i would tape your finger so that matching thing could not come to pass again until it is healed.
