POISON IVY ON LIP! assist!!?
yes im sure it is poison ivy, i have for a while on my chin too. it's on my top lip, and it is really nasty. it is simply a little bumpy presently, but i don't want it getting any bigger.
i got it from my dog because she run in it and next scratched me, it has happenend several times past.
usualy i use rubbing achol(however it is spelled) but it is on my lip, and i'm not sure what i can put on it.
I havn't been scratch it, and i don't plan to. usualy i get rid of it by drying it out, so thats what i'm doing. if it doesn't capture better by the weekend, i will try to go to the doctor.
I play the french horn, and it isn't too easey to play resembling this, lucklly it is summer, so i don't have anything to work on. But the longer i travel without playing, the harder it is to play again.

I had like peas in a pod problem last week! It's awful! I be exposed to poison ivy (and didn't know it) on a Monday afternoon, and then subsequent morning I could feel a few small red bumps on my chin. I thought it be just a skin recoil, bug bites or zits. The next morning I woke up next to it all over my frontage, (especially on my chin and lips). I went to the dr and get a shot of a steroid (pregnizone) and a prescription for it. Unfortunately, that didn't help too much. It begin to spread to my hands, arms, legs and stomach. I be miserable. I bought ivydry, caltaid, Zanfel, calamine lotion. The Zanfel would seem to work a little- it would relieve the itch and start to make well the area- but it just kept spreading. With Zanfel costing $40 a small tube, and the poison ivy getting worse, I go back to the dr. I told him adjectives I had be doing (even changing sheets everyday and that munificent of stuff) and he said I have a bleak case of it and he be going to give me another shot of a different steroid. That dark, I felt a huge difference! The itching have almost completely stopped and I was competent to sleep through the night. It is in a minute 2 days later and the poison ivy is only just about gone.
If your poison ivy is spreading and really discomfited, I recommend going to the dr. If I hasn't done that a few days ago, I would still be in agony. Good luck!

There is this cleaner call Technu. You can find it in most pharmacies or Walmart or Target, etc. It is specifically for poison ivy. It washes out the poisonous oil so the poison ivy dries up and won't spread. Just follow the directions on the bottle. It's also great if you know you've been exposed to poison ivy because if you clear up with it until that time it shows up too, it will stop it from coming.
