My daughter be bitten by a deer fly?
I think didn't sense the bite till this morning assuming it was a deer fly because we spent the light of day at the beach yesterday. Anyway her intact arm has swelled up and is red beside a small white welt within the center. The bite itches and feels melt have given her an rime pack and some benadryl any other suggestions or things I should watch out for? Should I telephone call her doctor? Or just continue it out gave the benadryl a partly hour ago. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

She be stung by a bee , not a fly.
As long as she isn't allergic it'll be fine.

it could be hives..put support soda on it and if it doesn't go away see a Dr. she's allergic to it
The Benadryl should take effect soon. Just hold on to the ice pack and verbs on the Benadryl every 4-6 hours. If she has any trouble breathing, or if she have hives, then you must seize to an ER asap due to the allergic reaction.
Depending on how behind the times she is, and how much she weights, Benadryl won't hurt her, and you could even double up on it just for right very soon to get her spontaneous effect under control.
One small record... are you sure it was a deer fly and not a spider such as a brown outsider. That would be 100 times worse and definetly require medical attention.
