Back discomfort concentrated on a short time ago ONE spot along my spine on my lower back-- why?

I'm 17 and this has happened to me twice. It feel like the pain is contained by the very center of my back on my spine, lately in only one spot, close to someone's jabbed a pencil between two of my vertebrae. Usually it happens when I bend over, I suggest. It hurts a LOT. It hurts when I'm sitting but not nearly as much as when I'm walking, standing, and moving around. What is this and what should I do?

Answer:    I had similar symptoms. I went to a Orthopedic Surgeon who did a MRI. Turns out it be a Bulging Disk. Some people have surgery if it become severe pain that nothing will minister to but my doctor said most people can control the pain next to simple exercises which is what I do. Of coarse this was just my experience. Below is a website I found that might serve you. It explains lots of things that this could be including a bulging disk. Hope this helps.
