Bad sinus infection?
Okay all, so I'm pretty sure I have a discouraging sinus infection in my forehead. I went to the doc, and he told me put my commander down as far as it can go, and it hurt much more, which is an indicator of a sinus infection. It's not even pain, basically constant throbbing in my forehead. So, he prescribed levaquin for 10 days, and it actually help quite a bit. It didn't throb nearly as much, and I felt my sinuses draining out (had to blow my proboscis a lot//spit). I finished the prescription a couple days ago, and, although it wasn't gone completely, I figured it would be chill since we're getting warm weather. Now, on this freaking lovely daytime in Spring, we got pounded near 5 " of snow, and that made my sinuses go insane. This is really annoying...I was wondering if I should turn back to the doctor? It's obviously cold induced because by the conclude of winter, it started, and got much better when the weather was nice..so any suggestion here?
Answer: It could also include an allergy.
I suggest that around the time it occurs get an ear cleaning bulb (found contained by pharmacies) but use it for your nose or a neti dish which is more expensive. Put "sea brackish and water in it and put it surrounded by one nostril as it comes out the other. Do this on a semi-regular basis. Also Vicks and steam treatment.
Anti-biotic are a once a year thing at most. Of course do what your doctor say.
Good luck. That can be a really miserable thing to deal beside.
But a bottle of nasal saline solution and use as directed. Simple, but often effective.
