I hit my face just abover my eye really tricky when I walked into a corner of large wodden part. It really hurt and has continued to hurt for the past week. The swelling and spasm has gone down now but I can't be aware of anything in the area which i bang. I can stick a pin in my skin and can't feel a entity.

Is this normal after hitting yourself or have a done more vandalize to myself than I thought?

Didn't really want to go to docs about this as have a feeling a bit of a wally!
