burned my fingers with grease. what can i put on it to ease the pain?
Answers:    Wash your fingers near soap and water. Grease isn't always water-soluble (water won't dissolve it/wash it away) so just running wet over your fingers won't help. Use soap. You want to get all the grease stale as soon as you can.
Once the grease is off, run cool water over your fingers for at least 10 minutes, and next until it stops hurting in a "burning" kind of way. If the skin isn't cooled down, the residual warmness will continue to burn and cause further damage, even if the source of the burn is removed.
After that, pat your fingers dry and evaluate the burn. If it's a minor burn (red, sore, but no blistering) you can wrap it up loosely surrounded by nonstick gauze and leave it be. If it's blistered or worse, you should head to the doctor's and get a prescription for silver sulfidiazine.
