My daughter (13 months) tripped this past saturday and hit her ear on the corner of the door way. Yesterday morning when she woke up.. she have this ugly black bruise just on the top of her ear. It doesn't bother her when you touch it.. but it looks really unlikeable. I had to wait to telephone her doctor about it until today and now I hold to wait until 1:30 because the office go to lunch. So I was wondering, what can they do for a bruised ear, if anything?

Very little, just check no concrete damage is done.
As it doesn't seem to bother her I would guess not. Bruises look awful, especially on a child's gauzy skin, black now it will change day after day as the blood is absorbed.
I'm sure she will be fine, but you are bound to worry.
