Broke my metacarpral playin ball..season is gunna start in a week or so. have it x-rayed and ive had the cast on for 5 weeks doc say its doin great but i need some more time. WILL a T.E.N.S machine do anything to speed up the recuperative? I own the machine b/c of a prior injurry ALSO if so WHAT DO I SET THE SETTINGS ON?

T>E>N>S machine would do nil .It doesnot speed up healing of bones . It is effective for chronic cramp like back and spine problesm . Let it treat on it own.

dun do anything to stress ur fracture anymore...
let it rest and it will treat faster..

While doing arm exercises (particularly curl), 2 purple bruises other appear contained by one and the same spot on my shoulder.

TENS units are for muscles not bones. It may help a short time with the pain but that's in the region of it.
