Right, i've been having bad pains surrounded by the back of the left side of my throat on one of my glands i think it is? Kinda hurts when i swallow.. It's not a cold because i get over my cold like 2 weeks ago.. and also i still have a cough left, that make the gland hurt more.. but today i woke up and my gums were really hurting.. all really tender when touched.

Can anyone think what this may be cause by
Should i be worrying?

Also, i'm actually going Dentist tomorrow, is that sosomething can ask him to look at? or would i have to Go to my Gp?

Any help is appreciated, thankfulness :)

Answers:    hey i had the same problem a week ago..man i know what you are going through right now..trust me. it hurts alot but mine luckily individual lasted like 3 days each year was reducing the pain.so yea i guess it got rid of itself,oh and earlier i had the flu.after the flu i had your problem

Your dentist will definitely look at it for and be capable of tell you if there is an infection present. Dentists are also able to prescribe anti-biotics.

Initially it sounded approaching you had something like tonsilitis but if your gums are bad too after it could be a dental problem rather than a general one. You seeing your dentist is the best thing to do first.

he will definitely look at your gums but if you have an infection it could cause both if you run a big fever go to dr. other wise conceivably you have strep throat or tonsil problems
