Can degenerative disc disease create go before backache?
I have constant head affliction on one side. Diagnosed with ddd a yr ago
Answer: DDD is not a disease but part of the mundane aging process. As we age the nice soft gel inside the discs between our vertebra dry out and the discs shrink. So by the time we are 65, we have no soft gel to cushion our moves. That is why you never see any middle age, or senior age Olympians. Some inhabitants go through this normal process near no pain whatsoever, while others have serious backache, why no one knows. Therefore if for example the DDD is within the neck, then yes, it could wreak head pain. However I would see a Doctor purely to make sure it is nothing else. Best of Luck.
Hello, I'm sorry to hear something like your head pain.
Yes, it can. It wouldn't surprise me if you said you also feel dizzy at times.
But a differential diagnosis will be much better at pinning down the exact cause.
