Can i lift a darvocet after I took a percocet
my doc prescribed both, but I don't know if I can take the together
Answer: The biggest problem with taking these two together is the acetaminophen (Tylenol) content. You do NOT want to cart too much acetaminaphonen. The recommended dosage of acetaminophen is no more than 4000mg in a 24 hour period. Remember, at hand are a lot of other things out there that hold Tylenol in them (things you may not realise have it surrounded by there).
Percocet is (generally) a much stronger medication than Darvocet. Darvocet contains the opiate propoxyphene and Percocet contains oxycodone. They both contain acetaminophen..
if it the same doctor who gave you both he should own advised you to either discontinue one and use the other or if no complications he would hold also told you and if it were different doctors they usualy ask you if you were taking other prescription and depending on you answer he would have advised you ,call upon up your doctor and ask him I wouldn't. Call your Doctor who prescribed them and ask, that's the best thing to do. .
