Can I return with a doctor's information months after my stay within the hospital?
I went to the ER one night spinal column in February because of pain contained by my chest. It ended up being spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung) & I stayed at the hospital for 3 days. However, my doctor also told me to rest at home - no work or university - for about a week.
I never got a details to return to work, I just showed my professor the discharge papers and they said it was fine. Now, at the lapse of the semester, the professor is asking for a doctor's note since he is looking through absences to multiply grades.
My question is, can I still get a doctor's make a note of even though it's been a few months since the incident? Thanks!
