Can't sleep at darkness?
I just got out of a 2 year relationship, presently I live with a roommate who's never home, and I'm pretty lonely, especially at night. I used to be capable of fall asleep in minutes after lay down, now it takes hours. Last hours of darkness I came home from school, took a shower, and layed down at 11:30pm, I didn't nose-dive asleep til 3:30am. What can I do? Preferably something that isn't expensive.. thanks!
Answer: sleeping pills, but dont overdose only embezzle the safe and recommended dose. GOOD LUCK .
Hi Bia, You sound approaching your having a rough time at the moment. Stress plays a big role in sleep deprevation and nearly thinking roughly not being able to sleep stops you from sleeping. Sometimes this happen to me especially if i have to get up untimely in the morning or have have a big day and there is lots on my mind. I find a tub before bed is really relaxing and reading helps me slip past its sell-by date. What i would advise against is avoid caffine and watching t.v right before bed. Fresh sheets is great to relax into after a bath- god i am nearly dropping rotten thinking about it. Good luck xx
I would say acquire into another relationship. Try finding another guy that you can relate to and when you're ready, have him sleep subsequent to you and you should be able to sleep better. It's a security entry. I had trouble after my last relationship too. So swing in there, it shouldn't finishing too much longer. =)

Hello!# See a Doctor
Insomnia can be a symptom of physical disorders, although for most of us it's the result of tension, stress and anxiety—and as you would expect the more anxious we get about our insomnia, the worse it get. If your doctor pronounces you a "healthy" insomniac, he might suggest some of the techniques provided here. Or she might prescribe drugs to help you get hold of to sleep.
We suggest you try all these methods first, and use drugs only as a ending resort. The decision, of course, is yours.
2-# Take a Warm Bath
It's a great method to relax your body. Don't overdo it, however. You merely want to relax your body, not exhaust it. Too long in hot water and your body is drained of vivacity.
Use bath salts, or throw surrounded by Epsom salts and baking soda—one cup of each. These will relax you and also oblige remove toxins from your body.
3-# Listen to Music
Play some soft, soothing music that will lull you to sleep. There are even cassettes and records designed for that deeply purpose. Some are specially composed music, others simply have sounds of waves rhythmically breaking, or the steady template of a heartbeat.
Of course if you don't have a record, cassette or CD player that will automatically turn rotten, we don't suggest this. If you have to get up and turn it sour at the end, you've obviously lost its effect.
4-# Get a Massage
Have your spouse (or whoever) impart you a massage just past going to sleep. If you can convince them to give you a full body massage, great. If not, even a short backrub and/or a facade and scalp massage can be a big help. Have them breed the massage strokes slow, gentle, but firm, to work the tension out of your muscles and soothe you to sleep.
5.# Drink Warm Milk
A glass of melt milk 15 minutes before going to bed will soothe your nervous system. Milk contains calcium, which works directly on serrated nerves to make them (and you) relax.
6-# Drink Herb Tea
If you don't like milk—or are avoiding dairy products—try a cup of hot camomile, catnip, anise or fennel tea. All contain raw ingredients which will help you sleep. Most health food stores will also enjoy special blends of herb tea designed to soothe you and help you get to sleep.
Hope this Helps ! :D
