im getting a carpal tunnel release in a week. what should i expect? what would i be asked b4 sugery? also what kind of surgical pre-testing is done for this? im below 30 yrs of age.

As far as pre-op they'll just make sure you aren't unwell, take your temp, check your bloodcount, things like that. It's a brreze, really. Be sure you draw from any prescriptions you'll need post surgically to prevent a trip to the pharmacy on the day of surgery. Ask nearly recommended diet so you can be prepared at home. You'll probably be having a block not general but you still may be queezy for a afternoon or two and need to eat insubstantially. That's why I mention diet.
