someone pleae help me

i got a : SAMSUNG BELL CELL PHONE

and i get a memory card with it and all.

but i tried putting some songs within it so i can make it my ringtone...and it just wont show up within the video/song file...bc it is not the correct format.it was contained by the real player normal format.do i hold to change it to mp3 or someother wierd format to be played be the cell phone?

if so then update me how to do it
