Could facial numbness be cause by domestic assault that happen a year ago?
My mother was the victom of domestic abuse 1 year ago. Over yesteryear 5 months she has noticed that every once contained by a while the side of her face and neck will become numb and will sort of what she say "buzz" for up to but no more than 10 seconds. She has also said that when turning her pave the way from left to right her eyes have a knotty time keeping up. She had a CT scan the day after she be beaten and nothing be found to be abnormal other than a few goose eggs and brusing. Her herald was slammed on to a tile floor multiple times. She asked her Dr. about it and He simply brushed it off as a symptom of Migrianes. I really don't agree with that since this is not indistinguishable Dr. she saw after this injury. Please help!
Answer: Get her to get a second judgment. She'll need to tell the trial doctor what's happened to her. If she's seeing a new doctor for always she should be able to get her chronicles transferred.
If there was some sassiness damage or something it may be a delayed reaction.
If it's a delayed hypersensitivity it probably wouldn't have shown up in the first ct scan. Also she may hold done something which triggered the affects of the original injuries.
Why doesnt she see that doctor then?
Is the modern doctor aware of the things she went through.
You need to bring this concern to the doctor, not rnadom strangers on the internet!
The symptoms could indicate a stroke for adjectives you tell here, it could indicate permanent bottle damage, degeneration, and so on.
Please, see a doctor and bring your mom's patient history along if the doctor doesnt hold it.
CT scan in the past might not reveal whats going on very soon...

Best I can come up with is Maybe. If possible another CT scan would be great, but i know what a pain it is to obtain one of those! One thing is for sure, a doctor should never just brush it sour, it could be a warning sign for a number of things, resembling a stroke or something.Good Luck with it though, I hope you can find her help soon!
