Cut out my ingrown toenail
I have a bad ingrown toenail that i enjoy to cut out every month with a razor blade. is nearby anything i can do to it after i cut it out so it wont come back?
Answer: I went to the doctor to hold one removed. They cut the infected part off.
I asked him what I should do to prevent it. This is what he said.
People who don't wear shoes, don't draw from in grown toenails. Buy bigger shoes with plenty of room within the toes. Let the toe nail grow out until its all perceptible, then cut it straight across. Don't curve it around or anything. That way you don't receive that pointy part left lower than the skin.
They say you can use cotton or something to guide it out past the fastener bed. That never worked for me. I just soaked my feet surrounded by water at night and massage the skin down around the area until the nail grew out far satisfactory to cut evenly across.
I buy shoes that are probably two size too big. I use differential lacing to keep them from falling past its sell-by date. That gives my toes plenty of room and its a LOT more comfortable. We also don't wear shoes inside the house. So that helps too.
I used to gain them about once a year and had to hold the doctor fix it, until I finally followed his advice. No problem since.
Good luck..
Treatment
Sometimes initial treatment for ingrown toenails can be safely perform at home. However, home treatment is strongly discouraged if you suspect you have an infection, or if you have a medical condition that puts your foot at high risk—for example, diabetes, nerve defacement in the foot, or poor circulation.
Home care:
If you don’t own an infection or any of the above conditions, you can soak your foot in room-temperature water (add Epsom’s brackish if you wish), and gently massage the side of the staple fold to help reduce the inflammation.
Avoid attempting “bathroom surgery.” Repeated adjectives of the nail can cause the condition to worsen over time. If your symptoms come to nothing to improve, it’s time to see a foot and ankle surgeon.

I just have one taken out. You need to go when your toe is no longer infected (so you must be on antibiotics). Most places cut the toenail out for you because they call for to take the root along with it. The second bit is you have to go and catch the root burn so it won't grow back they usually use liquid nitrogen. I hold to go back this friday to carry that part done. Wish me luck! go see a doctor and they will fix it properly and cut it out right. i hold had that twice and they will have to administer you freezing needles though, they really, really hurt. but if you want to keep doing it yourself, to keep it verbs, soak ur foot it hot water with epsom brackish for 20-30 minutes it helps keeping it clean for infection.

I WORK AT DOC'S OFFICE AND WE USE PHENEOL TO KILL THE INGROWN NAIL BED. I'D SAY ITS BEST TO GET IT LOOKED AT BEFOR IT GET'S INFECTED AND CAUSE ILLNESS, I ONCE HEARD OF THIS MAN WHO DUG INTO HIS INGROWN NIAILBED AND GOT A INFECTION WHO DID'NT TAKE CARE OF IT AN GOT SICK AND PASSED HIS MEDICAL REVIEW DOC FOUND THAT IT WAS HIS TOE THAT GOT SO INFECTED AN NEVER GOT IT LOOKED AT , NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU BUT YOU SHOULD GET IT LOOKED AT NOW BEFORE IT GETS BAD...GOOD LUCK TOE GUY BUT IF THEY TAKE IT OUT MAKE SURE THEY USE PHENOL CAUSE THAT KILLS THE INGROWN NAILBED AN IT WONT GROW BACK BUT IF NOT USED IT WOULD GROW BACK AN HURT EVEN MORE Place a small piece of cotton beneath the nail. That should prevent it from coming back. If you are still have problems after that go the the doctor and they can put some acid on that nouns of the nail. This kills that cog of the nail preventing it from coming back. .
if u stir get it done at a doctors like ur supposed to, they can do something so it wont grow stern..my friend had it done Which toe is it on? I have something resembling that on both my pinkie toes but I just clip them off.
