A co-worker was told by a friend she should de-worm her child because they have a dog. We've never hear of this. Any truth to this? Can you even de-worm a child before they have worms? Any info much appreciated. Thx.

A being only needs to be de-wormed it they enjoy contracted a parasite from their pet. People who own pets and have children need to payment attention to their pet and make sure it does not get worms because it is possible for a loved ones member to get the worms (more plausible in children) from the pet. However, if the pet is worm free then your co-worker have nothing to worry roughly.

You might like to know that health problems close to Ulcerative Colitis and a few others are not found in third world countries? Reason being most of the kids own 'worms'. Therefore recently they are giving worms to healthy adults beside various intestinal diseases to see if they can treat and cure them. Therefore my advise give up well alone, unless your kids either start itching their anus, or consideration the worms in their stools. Best of Luck
