Answer: If what goes wrong? As we age the discs dehydrate, shrink, so depending on your age, symptoms, which you do not state will depend on the treatment. I have a prolapsed disc that have a bad habit of sitting on the resolve roots to my legs, no surgery, no injections, no treatment, they are waiting for it to dehydrate. Best of Luck.
A disc prolapse at L2/3 is quite uncommon.May you have a trauma. If the ruptured disc is causing neurological deficits you might call for a surgery. If it is just back throbbing alone take complete bed rest for a week on a firm bed. You can turn on your sides and just receive up to go to the bathroom.never sit up for long. If there is no nouns you should consult a Neurosurgeon immediately Have you seen a chiropractor beside a good therapy plan and a stroke therapist that works with the chiro? They are amazing and can backing you avoid surgery in many circumstances. Talk to a chiro almost spinal decompression. It's lovely and I have seen the results..
