Disc Space Narrowing at age 21?

I am 21 years old. I've been have severe pain in my lower put a bet on and shooting pains down my hips and legs. I went to the chiropractor, had some x-rays done, and she said that I have disc space narrowing in my lower back. She said that it's not a suitable sign since I am so young. She said that more than likely it be caused from an old injury I have. She said that she would have me do some exercises, and that I would start to feel better. Will exercises and stretches really sustain me? Should I get a second opinion? She doesn't prescribe spasm medication, so I am seriously thinking about going somewhere else, so that I can get some sort of nouns. What should I do? Any comments will be much appreciated. Thanks.

After feeler livelihood be done fairly sometimes...Pls Help..?

Hi

I have also had this for lots years (I am now 27). Don't panic. It vitally means that thie discs have lost some of their echelon due to dehydration (loss of the fluid in the centre) and are slightly degenerated. This make them less spongy and bouncy, more prone to injury and less shock absorbing.

This can indeed be cause by an old injury, or very discouraging posture over many years. You need really to own an MRI scan done to see the dics themselves in any detail. the x-ray will only bequeath an indication of disc height and distribution.

I manage beside this in my lumbar spine, I am very meagre there and injure easily, I also achieve pains like you, plus some numbness and tingling in my leg. I do transport painkillers though when it is very bad and I return with adjusted regularly at my Chiropractors. Yes, she is right, it is not good to enjoy this young for me either, but in that are alot of people out there within their twenties and thrities with this, so stay calm!

You merely need to make sure that you are fussy with your spine to avoid further injuries really. Take glucosamine sulphate and at night, sleep near a pillow between your legs to open up the disc spaces in your fund - this will help them to re-hydrate. Drink plenty of water too.

I hope that you discern better soon, all the best, Isabel.

Bleeding from my inner ears?

Well pain medication will definitely help you but remember this. It is my opinion they should simply be used when absolutely needed. I understand your wager on hurts all the time but utilize the meds when you have to be physically involved. If possible, skip days, even a entire weekend. This can be done, I did it for 7 years with no issues.

They work wonderfully and you have to respect that because once used each day, you are just gonna need more and more, than more powerful stuff and at your age, you enjoy better things to do with your life than be bound to spasm pills. Oxycodone is something I can firmly tell you to stay away from.

Once your physically dependent on these things and you withdraw, you are gonna need you had that normal subsidise pain to deal next to. As far as exercises, only thing I know is to tighten up your abs to support your spine. And you can do this lifting your legs up contained by the air as your laying on your fund and than rotate them to.

Pain is a everyday fact of life and when Pain killer's subsidise fire on you is when you want to be totally pain free 24/7 and in turn rob them all the time. You must tolerate some pain sometime to maintain these things working.
