Do cortisone shots really work? I hold to gain them tomorrow and im worried that they will raison d`¨ētre more misery...?
I have bulging disks and have shots tomorrow and any information would be great.
Answer: They are a pro tem relief of pain, eventually you will involve surgery..
I had a cortisone shot in my arm for tennis elbow and it did relief. I was having worse headache than usual. The pain will probably come back mine have but I can deal with it. If it get to hurting to bad I will go vertebrae for another shot. I got mine in the arm instead of right surrounded by the elbow joint the doctor said if my pain would of be worse he would shoot it in my elbow but it would hurt quit a bit more.
