Do I foot for healthcare at a Canadian hospital as a US citizen?
Suppose I go on vacation somewhere surrounded by Canada, have an accident and am taken to a Canadian hospital. As an American citizen, do I acquire charged or, like it is for Canadian citizens, is it free?
Answer: It's not free -- You have to wage the full amount. Canadians still pay a monthly premium for health insurance, which covers us surrounded by case of having to budge to the hospital, visit the doctor, etc.
If you are a resident of Canada, you are entitled to participate within provincial medical plans. However, if you are visiting, it is credible that this is not the case.
