Do over the counter pink eye drops work?
My boyfriend has a mild case, singular in one eye and it only looks desperate when he first wakes up. I believe this is allergy related because after wiping it past its sell-by date and using Visene and taking a Benadryl it is fine for the rest of the day. Also we spent the night at a friends house on Sat. that have a furry dog, which seemed to trigger it, he is allergic. I heard you can buy a over-the counter drop specifically for pink-eye, does this work? He in recent times started a new job and not elligible for condition insurance yet, so he is not covered and doesnt have much money to progress to a doctor without insurance. Any ideas?

yeah they do. my mom uses em. :)try cold *ice cold* saline water, not too much salt of late a lil bit, and put one or two drops in your eyes...it will relieve iscompfort, if you want to get rid of the *pink* try allergy drops *visine A* beside thydroxamyne, dont swallow it! it constricts nerves and veins, mostly time will take affect, or you can ask your doctor roughly it. i would go with cold drops and thydroxamyne
