I also hold severe lower back pain immediately for nearly 2 years, it is horrible, especially as no-one has been competent to help me or to find a cause for the agony, i have had a SI Joint injection, Facet Joint injection, numerous twinge meds, heat pads, physio, traction, remedial mould, hydrotherapy, x-rays, CT scans, MRI's, I have be to 3 GP's, an orthopedic doctor, 2 ortopedic surgeons and a gynecologist. I am waiting to see a rheumatologist and also to have another appointment with my orthopedic surgeon, i am also going put a bet on to my gynecologist this week as my tummy has been getting really sore when i own been trying to do my exercises and stretches for my back, which due to not anyone able to do my exercises and stretches properly cause of my tummy agony, my back has also be quite sore. So i am going back to see my gynecologist to see what he can do to back.

The one thing that i have notice that helps is having a hot shower and any sit on the floor of the shower or stand and just let the hose run onto your back, it feels as if it make it go a bit numb, but with not alot of hose around i know that i cannot be in there for to long, but it does be aware of good whilst it lasts. i conjecture that my lower back is normally a bit numb as i can hold the water really hot on my back but if i move and carry the water somewhere else like my come first or arms it burns, so not being able to be surrounded by the shower for to long is probably a good thing.
