Does anyone know if a metal plate next to 6 screw contained by ankle will set rotten the detectors surrounded by the airport?
Not planning anything soon, but am just curious if I will have problems if i do turn somewhere.
Answer: yes .
It all depends on what material they installed and the technology/settings at the specific airport you travel to. I believe they try to use more materials that are locked around large magnets. I would recommend traveling with a doctors facts. You will still need to pass through the detectors but it might receive life easier. I would also recommend informing the TSA agent before you way of walking through the detector. most likely not, but you can get a record from your physician stating that you have them.
it depends really on what type of material they used, most textile they use now is safe for MRI's and metal detectors..
Most of the plates, pins and screw are made with titanium these days, so unless you have them put in over 20 years ago, you should be good. not sure but it probably will i suppose you can get some papers so you dont have to be in motion through alot of problems with security.
yes it will set rotten the metal detectors..
u should recieve a card from the doctor stating that u have surgical steel in ur body so that u shouldnt own too many problems with payment.
Yes it will.
Travel with a Doctor's note.
Seriously.
